Michael Harris, M.D., board certified ophthalmologist, received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. Dr. Harris served in the Naval Reserves as a medical officer from 1971-1973, at Camp Pendleton, CA. He is a full professor at RWJ/Barnabas Health Medical Center and founder of Livingston Eye Associates. Dr. Harris embraced the latest technology to increase the accuracy of diagnostic and treatment services by offering Optos, wide-field, retinal imaging, Zeiss Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) and visual field testing, Diopsys Electrophysiologic testing and fully automated refraction services, just to highlight a few. Livingston Eye Associates has been a well-established practice in the community and has served generations of patients with excellence in eye care for 43 years. Dr. Harris retired August 31, 2019 and merged his practice with the Laser Vision Correction Center of New Jersey, Miller Ophthalmology Associates, Kenneth S. Miller, M.D., Director.
